2. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting login credentials, and ensuring that all activities under their accounts are lawful and genuine.

• You must provide accurate registration details.
• You must not impersonate another person, company, landlord, agent, caretaker, or property manager.
• You must not create accounts for fraudulent or misleading purposes.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.

3. Property Listings

Property providers must ensure that all listings submitted on NyumbaChapChap are truthful, accurate, current, and legally allowed to be advertised.

• No fake listings are allowed.
• No misleading property photos are allowed.
• No false rent, deposit, location, or availability information is allowed.
• No duplicate or intentionally confusing listings are allowed.
• You must update or remove listings that are no longer available.

5. Verification Badge

NyumbaChapChap may provide a Verification Badge to users who complete the verification process and meet the platform’s verification requirements.

The Verification Badge is designed to increase trust and show that a user has submitted information for review. However, verification does not guarantee property quality, future conduct, listing accuracy, legal ownership, or the outcome of any transaction between users.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some services on NyumbaChapChap may require payment, including verification fees, listing subscriptions, or other approved platform services.

• Subscription plans are billed according to the selected plan.
• Verification Badge payment is a one-time application-related fee.
• Payments must be made using the official payment methods provided by NyumbaChapChap.
• Users should not pay money to unofficial personal numbers claiming to represent NyumbaChapChap.
• Subscriptions may expire if not renewed on time.

7. Marketplace Role

NyumbaChapChap is a property discovery and listing marketplace. The platform connects house seekers with property providers but does not become a landlord, tenant, agent, caretaker, property manager, broker, or party to any rental agreement.

Users are responsible for physically verifying properties, confirming identities, reviewing agreements, and making informed decisions before making any payment or entering into any arrangement.

8. User Reports, Ratings, and Safety Actions

NyumbaChapChap may allow users to report suspicious listings, fraudulent behavior, unsafe requests, fake accounts, or poor conduct. We may review such reports and take appropriate action where necessary.

• Accounts may be reviewed, restricted, suspended, or removed.
• Listings may be rejected, hidden, edited, or removed.
• Verification may be rejected, revoked, or placed under review.
• Reports must be honest and should not be used to harass other users.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must not use NyumbaChapChap for illegal, harmful, misleading, abusive, or fraudulent activities.

• No fraud, scams, or fake property advertising.
• No impersonation.
• No harassment, threats, abuse, or hate speech.
• No illegal property transactions.
• No attempt to bypass platform safety systems.
• No uploading false documents during verification.
• No misuse of user contact information.

10. Limitation of Liability

NyumbaChapChap works to improve trust, transparency, and safety, but we cannot guarantee that every user, listing, property, interaction, or transaction will be risk-free. Users must exercise caution and perform their own due diligence.

NyumbaChapChap shall not be liable for losses arising from direct agreements, payments, disputes, property conditions, misrepresentation, or arrangements made between users outside official platform services.

11. Updates to These Terms

NyumbaChapChap may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.
